A new name and a new start

We are absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news with our amazing community!

Staines Lammas Youth FC and Laleham & Kempton FC are merging to form the new Laleham Football Club. This rebranding marks a significant step in our journey to better represent the place we proudly call home and provide a clear pathway from youth to adult football.

With our new identity, we are stronger together - building a community that supports players of all ages and celebrates the game as one united club.

We can't wait to show off our brand new logo, which captures the essence and heritage of Laleham. Keep an eye out for it on our NEW jerseys, website (more updates on this soon) and everywhere we represent our club with pride!

Our players, coaches, and staff are eager to kick off this new era and showcase our revitalised team spirit on the pitch. We can't wait for you to see us in action as Laleham Football Club!

County Cup Success

Our men's Reserves (Laleham & Kempton FC) enjoyed Surrey County Cup success at the home of Dorking Wanderers with victory against Sporting Kitz FC.

The Cup campaign started back in September with a walk-over against Woking Vets FC. This was followed-up with a thrilling penalty shootout victory against Ocean Rangers after the game finished 2-2, with 2 goals in the final 5 minutes for L&K. Two goals for A Parslow and a penalty save from A Brundish

Next up was a tricky game away to Worcester Park 'A' that finished 2-3 after a very competitive contest, goals from A.Rafiq, R.Dye and A.Parslow.

The quarter final was a home fixture v Earlsfield Reserves and another close game that ended 1-1, with L&K again coming from behind with a goal from T.Saville. In the penalty shoot-out A.Brundish made 2 impressive saves to seal victory and advancement to the semi-finals and a meeting with Farncombe Reserves.

The Semi Final was relatively straightforward after L&K took a 4-0 half-time lead, with the game ending 4-1 - 3 for A.Parslow and another from team captian L.Brundish.

The final was a much tighter game. L&K dominated possession and created chances but were unable to find the breakthrough. Thre were two goals disallowed for offside before A.Paslow found the back of the net following a great run and cross from G. De Noronha. The second half began with Sporting Kitz applying some pressure as they sough an equaliser but a quick L&K counter-attack resulted in a skillfull finish by C.Scully. A goal from half-way by C.Darby was controversially denied by the officials and the game ended 2-0 to L&K Reserves.

U15 Tournameent Success

Our U15 Whites celebrated end of season success at the Mayford Athletic Tournament to cap-off another great year for the team.

U18 Success

Our U18s achieved a memorable League and Cup double in their final season of youth football. Having convincingly secured the league title they were held to a 1-1 draw in normal time and needed a penalty shoot-out to secure cup success.

Coaches Russell and Richard have been with the team from u7s and have experienced all the highs and lows, but all their efforts were rewarded with the outstanding success this season.

We wish all the lads the very best of luck as they move into adult football and look forward to welcoming them into our Laleham & Kempton mens teams.

Champions Again

Our Saturday men's First Team (Laleham & Kempton FC) celebrated consecutive champioship wins with victory in the Surrey County Intermediate League Western (SCILW), follwoing on from last seasons success in the Guildford & Woking Alliance Football League Premier Division (GWAFL). An added bonus was the Sportsmanship/Fair Play award demonstrating that nice guys can be winners too.

The team are already preparing for the 2023/24 Season and hope to make it a hattrick of league wins.

Our Laleham & Kempton FC Men's Saturday 1st Team celebrated league success winning the GWAFL Premier Division and receiving the trophy from League Secreary Bob Dick following their final game of the season.

Ben Cranston's team suffered only two defeats and finished with a +37 goal difference. Season highlights include home and away victories against 2nd placed Dial Square.

The 1st Team have now gained promotion to the Surrey County Intermediate League (Western).

Another Win for the Vets

Our Vets team enjyed a convincing 4-1 victory against a strong Claygate Royals team at Littleton Recreation Ground on Saturday 8 May.

L&K Vets set the tone with an early goal but couldn't convert a string of good chances and the first half ended 1-0.

The second half continued in similar fashion with L&K dominating possession however this time they were able to convert the chances and put the ball in the net with 3 well-taken finishes. Claygate responded with an excellent goal and the game finished 4-1.

If you have an interest in football or want to be a part of a growing football community, we have everything you want.

We have a number of player opportunities across various age groups and we are very welcoming to new players.

We have coaching opportuinities in youth and adult football - we can assist with FA courses and provide you with support as you learn.

We have opportuities for match officials (referees) and will help you to develop your skills in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment.

As a large club we aways need volunteers to help with the organisation of games, fundraising and a range of other activities.

We don't receive funding from the FA or Premier League and rely on the excellent work of volunteerd sn the generosity of sponsors.
